otherwise a loose denture. This method is the least costly, yet may only be

feasible where sufficient bone height, width, and density still remains.

A removable full denture that is connected to custom made 'bar-attachment' is complicated in constructing, yet fairly comfortable, and fairlt retentive. depending on the quality and quantity of remaining jawbone, 2-6 dental implants may need to be utilized, and cost of this option is rather high.

Removable complete denture
A removable denture is constructed to fit over the existing jawbone and gums. However, the only retention is simply by sitting on th etissue, and all the pressure is borne by the jawbone and gum tissue during chewing and biting.
The disadvantages are many: discomfort in eating, poor esthetics, affected speech, and sore gums from denture movement. Moreover, a full denture placed in the upper jaw severely reduces the sense of taste.
